Fan Service

So Karisa said I should put Thor temporarily in my universe to smack Roger upside the head with his hammer every time Roger says something stupid. Started as a joke, but it turned into a reality, as you can tell.

This is the first one panel Sam & Roger comic and I have ideas for more one panel gags. This is actually canon to the series by the way. Thor might make a return several times. Well, until the gag stops being funny.

Also, to those who don't know yet, Sam & Roger have a new website. www.samandrogercomics.com. I finally got all the comics up there on the site now. Go there and check it out. S&R will still be mirrored here at ComicFury, so y'all don't have to worry about me ever leaving.

Thanks Karisa for the inspiration for this one. :-)

A Roger Review

30th Apr 2015, 4:27 PM: And we're back! I finally finished my new book and I'm happy to be back to work on S&R. I did this one on paper. I might actually stick to paper from now on, haven't decided. Roger, you loveable moron, I don't think ANYONE will agree with your review.

I'm thinking this will be a running gag where Roger's reviews are the exact OPPOSITE of my opinion. XD

It's good to be back home with S&R. :-)

Sound Doctrine

21st Apr 2015, 9:51 AM: This particular strip was completely improvised and I haven't done that since the early days of Sam & Roger. Though I've had the joke itself in my head for a couple days. Lucky #111. Next month will be S&R's 2 year anniversary. Hard to believe I've made it this far. S&R is a lot of fun again. Now I plan on working on a new page of Legend of Tetsuto. :-)

At The Movies

13th Apr 2015, 10:56 AM: Yep, Roger REALLY has bad taste in movies if he actually enjoyed THAT movie. I'm thinking about making a running gag in the series where Roger reviews movies. I've had that idea for a while. Should be fun if I ever decide to commit to it.

Anyway, I did something a little different with this strip. I like the way it looks. I'm glad I didn't quit comics because I'm enjoying it again. Hope you guys enjoy. Strip #110. Hard to believe I made it this far. :-)

Trolling

7th Apr 2015, 10:56 AM: So, I've decided to work on this comic already since today is Sam & Roger's ComicFury 1 year anniversary!!!

Hope you guys enjoy. It feels good to be back to work on this series. And it feels good that I'm enjoying it again. :-)

Blessings to all,
-Dwayne

About Debbie Dearheart

6th Apr 2015, 9:18 PM: So, I didn't technically reboot. I just skipped the last pages of the date story arc because, honestly, I hated working on it. haha.

But this! I LOVED working on this strip. I love working on S&R again. I'm so happy to be able to stay that. No more long and drawn out story arcs. I respect the arcs for character development but I can still do that in single page strips.

So as you can see, Roj and Debs are now an item. The next strip is already written and has nothing to do with Debbie. Though she will definitely still be involved in the comic as well as introducing some new characters.

I see working on S&R in a whole new light and it feels good to be able to continue my beloved comics. I missed S&R too much to just quit. :-)

Date With Debbie 13

23rd Mar 2015, 10:18 AM: Well, this page was easier to do than I thought it would be. I don't know why I was expecting it to be hard, but I'm glad it wasn't.

And check it out, Debbie is a fan of the Seven Foot Ninja too!

Also, this was written in my own font. My handwriting sucks, but it actually looks good in font format. Big shout out to Seabiscuit for introducing me to that font site. I might make more. ^_^

Hope you guys enjoy. I've been neglecting this comic a bit to work on my new one, Legend of Tetsuto which is a blast to work on but I've missed working on S&R so it's back.

And also, WOW, thank you guys so much for reading. S&R has just reached over 30,000 views and over 6,000 unique visitors. I never expected S&R to be this popular. I know I keep saying that, but wow.

In other news, keep my sister in your thoughts and prayers, she's having surgery today. She had gallstones and she's been in a lot of pain for a while. All well-wishes are very much appreciated. She's the only sibling I have a close bond with now.

Hope you guys enjoy. :-)

Date With Debbie 12

17th Mar 2015, 9:58 PM: Welp, this is the half way mark. 12 more pages to go and the date story arc will be finished. I'm enjoying drawing on paper.

In other news, I've finished a couple instrumental albums this past couple of days. One is an album recorded with Native American flute and the other is a Chiptune soundtrack of Tetsuo's Tales.

I've also been drawing all day. I'm adapting The Tetsuto Trilogy epic poem into a comic of its on, read Manga style. I'm already half way finished with the first act. It's a black and white comic, other than the cover art and I love the way it looks. I'll upload the batch after I upload this page of S&R.

Hope you guys enjoy. ^_^

Date With Debbie 11

17th Mar 2015, 1:00 PM: The second hand-drawn comic in the Date With Debbie series. I'm really enjoying working this way. It takes a lot less time to do and I enjoy digitizing it. This page is on buffer. I drew this page yesterday. Since I went back to using four panels, the Date With Debbie arc will end quite quickly but I'm going to give it all I got. :-)

Hope you guys enjoy. ^_^

Date With Debbie 10

16th Mar 2015, 2:23 PM: My hiatus is officially over. I got lucky again and got a new computer. I wasn't expecting getting a new computer so soon but I'm very thankful.

I'm also out of my slump, you see. This page was a joy to draw and I drew it on paper. I digitally colored and touched it up and I just love the way it looks. I'm going to take things slow so I continue to enjoy drawing S&R. I don't want to get burned out again.

Hiatus is over and here's a new page. Like I said, I love the way it looks. I think this style will be permanent. Don't hold me to that though. S&R is fun to mess around with as far as styles are concerned.

I'm so happy to finally be back to work on S&R. I missed drawing for you guys. I pray this computer has a long life. It seems to be working much better than the other ones I had and Julian doesn't seem interested in the wires because they're thick. He likes going after small wires. Jerk cat. XD

Tetsuo's Tales will be updated soon as well. I'm using my tablet as a mouse right now because my actual mouse is a pain in the behind. Hope you guys enjoy.

It feels good to be back. Also, I went back to hand lettering. I like the way it looks. It looks good as long as it's not heavy dialogue and cramps my hand. Little dialogue is key. :-)

Date With Debbie 9

4th Mar 2015, 4:14 PM: I'm going to be honest with you guys, I really did NOT feel up to making this page or any page really of Sam & Roger. I've been dreading actually continuing this date story arc but I want to get it finished. I guess I'm just in a weird mood. I usually love working on S&R. I think after the date story arc concludes, I'll be taking a break from S&R. I really don't want to burn myself out because I love drawing these guys and I know you guys enjoy them. I enjoy them. I think when I return, I'm not going to get back into story arcs, but rather a bunch of one shots because I miss the one page gags. I'm definitely NOT giving up on this series though. As you see, I got this page done. And I'm going to continue the date story arc before taking a break.

Speaking of which, the date starts on the next page. idk when it'll be posted but FINALLY not drawing the two guys in their apartment. I believe this is an important story arc and I can't wait to show you guys what I have in store. Hard to believe I'm past 100 comics and so many people are generous with their fan art. You guys rock! :-)

We'll see how I feel about drawing the date scenes. Maybe I was just getting bored of the apartment. I'll find out soon enough. Hope you guys enjoy. I'm also having a blast working on Tetsuo's Tales. That project seems to be where my heart is at the moment. Don't fret though, this comic will only end when I end. :-)

Date With Debbie 8

1st Mar 2015, 12:00 AM: Man, I'm way ahead of schedule on everything now. I brought back Tetsuo's Tales and I'm enjoying drawing that again. I wish I never stopped drawing it but I had so much going on at the time it was hard to stay committed to more than one comic.

Also, my EP is finally available. I worked on it because of all the positive feedback I got on my new album. You can listen to it here, and if you like it, order it:

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/christoselectros2#

This page is on buffer. I promise we're about to get to the date scenes. I hope I can pull it off as well as I have envisioned in my head. Hope you guys enjoy. :-)

Date With Debbie 7

28th Feb 2015, 12:00 AM: Maybe taking Debbie to Cuisinos IS a bad idea since they didn't exactly click there. But Roger is pretty bold and a loveable goofball. I'm sure he can win Debbie over with his charm.

It's good to be back at work on the Date With Debbie story arc. I know it's been a while, but I look forward to concluding this arc and possibly work on a third arc. I'm thinking it'll be a little while before a third arc though because I also enjoy working on the gag strips of this comic.

Thanks so much everyone for sticking with this series. I never expected S&R to become so popular and sometimes I'm overwhelmed by it. Overwhelmed in a good way of course. :-)

Parfait

23rd Feb 2015, 12:21 PM: 100th strip!!!! Wow, I can't believe S&R has made it this far. 100 strips in under 2 years!

Yes, there is a talking donkey in the Bible, but if you read it in context unlike Roger here, it's not as silly as it sounds. It's actually the voice of God coming FROM the donkey, not the donkey itself. God can break rules like that because He's amazing. ;-)

Wow, thanks so much for sticking with me and reading this comic everyone. I'm on a lot of people's favorite list and that's just awesome to me. I actually have fans and readers. I'm so blessed. I hope I can make you all laugh with my comics. Touching your heart in any possible way and comedy is good at touching hearts. :-)

I've had this donkey joke for a while now so I decided to finally put it into a comic. I always think of Eddie Murphy when reading those passages in Numbers. I know it's silly but that's how my brain works. I love the Bible though. :-D

Wow, 100 strips. This is an awesome feeling. None of my other comics have ever made it this far. the 4 part Q&A will be posted soon. I will upload 1 part each day till it concludes and then we'll get back to the date story arc.

Thank you guys so much for reading. I love you all. :-)

Offensive

21st Feb 2015, 9:34 PM: It's good to be back. To those who didn't know, I took a week break to get back into my faith. I spent the entire week with the Lord. He has been answering ALL my prayers. I feel refreshed and it's good to be back.

Don't worry, I'm still working on the date story arc and I will get back to it after this strip and the 100th one. Wow, hard to believe I've made it this far. Wow time flies.

The joke itself is not the funniest part to me in this particular strip, but Sam flat out saying "That's a stupid question." I laugh every time.

This one was loosely based on an incident involving me. Karisa brought it to my attention that I said something very offensive about the Jehovah's Witnesses. I didn't realize till I reread what I posted and I felt bad about what I said. I might not agree with their beliefs but I really had no right to say what I said. I've talked to very nice JWs before. But it can get annoying when they keep coming back. haha. But something good came out of it; this comic. So thanks for inspiring this, Karisa a.k.a. Cannon. :-)

Also, I just realized I have over 5500 visitors and now over 25,000 hits. That just boggles my mind. I was so happy when I saw I was at 25,000 hits. Man, thank you guys so much for reading. Anyway, I'll post this now. Be on the lookout for the next strip very soon, then the Q&A and finally, we'll start getting back to work on the date story arc. I know I've been keeping you guys in suspense. XD

Date With Debbie 6

13th Feb 2015, 11:23 AM: Whoo, a lot has been going on with me lately. All good news though. A new S&R strip, I've written 8 acts so far for Tetsuo's Epic and my album is finally available on CD Baby. You can listen to the entire album for free here:

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/christoselectros

I don't claim to be the best singer in the world, but I'm pretty darn proud of that album. It's my proudest musical achievement ever and I've been recording music since 2007. None of my previous music is available anymore though and I'm actually glad it's not. It wasn't that good. XD I like this particular album because it's Electronica with Christian lyrics. It was a lot of fun to record.

I can't wait to get to the date scenes of this story arc. It's been Sam and Roger talking for the past 6 strips. haha. Those goofballs talk too much. XD

Hope you guys enjoy. I promise the date scenes are coming soon. The two knuckleheads talking is ALMOST over. XD

Pick Up

Hey guys, this is a short break from the Date With Debbie story arc, much like the intermission in my previous arc, but not because I lost the script thank goodness. I was just tired of drawing S&R in their apartment and also, this joke came to me out of the blue and I HAD to act on it. haha.

In other news, I just finished an album of Christian songs. They are an assorted mix of Christian Hip Hop, Electronica, Industrial and Spoken Word. I'm very proud of the album and it should be available on CD Baby very soon.

Also, I'm two acts in on Tetsuo's Epic and I think I'm going to write the next act some time today.

Thanks for reading and commenting. :-)

Date With Debbie 5

4th Feb 2015, 1:53 PM: So this page is late. I wanted to work on it yesterday, but I got carried away on strudelboard. That thing is addicting. Had fun though goofing off with Seabiscuit, Inky, Adina, etc. They're all fun friends. Apologies to those who have been waiting on a new S&R. I'm back at work. :-D

I enjoy working on S&R's many different expressions. They seem to add the most to this sitcom on paper.

I spent my morning drinking coffee and reading InuYasha. I'm a HUGE fan of InuYasha. I've watched all the shows and now I'm reading the manga.

In other news, I'm planning on rebooting Tetsuo's Tales into an epic poem series because I'm not happy at all with it's current format and I had a boost of inspiration today. It will still be serialized on the web. When it comes to writing, I'm a poet anyway and I have huge plans for the story. Each book will be 50 pages, comprised of 50 8 verse acts. I'm used to that format. I've done a series called The World Gone Mad in this style. It's a zombie epic. I still have to write the 3rd book in that series, but my heart is set on Tetsuo's Tales currently. I'll probably change the name to Tetsuo's Epic to be more accurate. Sorry, Seabiscuit and Tetsuo's other readers. I know I keep rebooting but this is the last time. It'll be a LOT better in this format.

Anyway, this is getting long. I have so many project ideas and I've been drawing for a new series. idk if it'll be a webcomic or just something fun to do while I'm not working on S&R. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy. Love you all! :-D

Date With Debbie 4

30th Jan 2015, 10:47 AM: Whoa, only five more strips to go till I reach #100. After #100, I will release the Q&A. I might work on the next few pages faster just so I can finally share the Q&A. The date scenes will start soon. Sam & Roger talk too much. XD

Good news also, I got a new copy of Game Maker Studio, so I'll be getting back to work on the Sam & Roger video game. I have to start from scratch, but all is good. It'll give me a little something to do when I'm not working on the strip itself.

Hope you guys enjoy. :-D

Date With Debbie 3

27th Jan 2015, 11:51 AM: Woo, 3 pages into the Date With Debbie story. I think I work better and faster without an update schedule. I hate schedules. XD. I'm enjoying working on this story even though I haven't got to the good parts yet. Just Sam & Roger banter, which is fun to work on. The story should start picking up very soon.

Wow, guys! Thank you all so much for reading Sam & Roger. I'm now over 5,000 visitors and getting very close to 25,000 views. I never imagined S&R would be this popular. Thanks so much to all my readers.

I'm now working on my second magazine issue, but it'll be at least next month till I release it. To those who would like to purchase the first issue, here's the link once again:

http://www.lulu.com/shop/dwayne-eric-mcleod/mcleod-chronicles/ebook/product-22012316.html

It's got some old S&R comics in it as well as a bunch of other stuff created by me. The next issue will have a ton of new material.

We're getting so close to strip #100. I can't believe it. I never thought I would get this far. Sam & Roger was just a silly idea at the beginning and now it's my flagship comic. And also, longest running. After #100, I will release the Q&A for you guys. Thanks to everyone who asked questions. Feel free to ask more questions in the future. I enjoyed working on the Q&A.

God Bless and I love you all! :-D

Date With Debbie 2

24th Jan 2015, 2:12 PM: I've decided to start taking a more minimalist approach to Sam & Roger these days. This page didn't take long at all to make that way and I'm glad. I do a lot of cutting and pasting. Always have. I like the look of this page. I drew a LOT of new backgrounds. You'd think I'd be tired of making new backgrounds because of my luck with computers lately, but no, they're still a lot of fun to make. I can't wait to start working on the date scenes of the story but we'll get there soon. I always enjoy Sam & Roger banter. Hope you guys enjoy.

In other news, I've started a magazine. It's called McLeod Chronicles and it's to showcase my work, from stories, poems, comics and more. You can get the first issue here:

http://www.lulu.com/shop/dwayne-eric-mcleod/mcleod-chronicles/ebook/product-22012316.html

I added some of my favorite old Sam & Roger strips in the magazine, as well as poems and my serialized stories. :-)

I've also published Sam & Roger's Get Together story arc that has the Q&A. Though the Q&A is exclusive to the book at the moment, I will release it for free after the 100th strip as a little gift for my readers. You can get the Get Together comic here:

http://www.lulu.com/shop/dwayne-eric-mcleod/sam-roger-get-together/paperback/product-22008698.html

Hope you guys enjoy. Thanks so much to everyone who reads and supports S&R. You guys are amazing. All of you! :-)

Date With Debbie 1

21st Jan 2015, 11:57 AM: Sam & Roger officially returns with a new story arc. This is the date with Debbie arc and I already have the entire script written and I'm really proud of it.

I'm not going to kill myself like last time trying to get the arc finished as fast as possible. I'm going to take this one a bit slow. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the Forks & Spoons strips and I'll do more of those in the future, but they don't count as Sam & Roger comics. It's its own series so this page is 92. The Forks & Spoons series is a lot of fun to work on though.

I'm also putting the finishing touches on the Get Together book. I was working behind the scenes doing the Q&A for the book. Also, Forks & Spoons 1-6 is in the book, as well as the first part of my serial Tetsuo's Tales.

So yeah, I'm going to take this one slow because it IS a lot of work and I want to enjoy it. I'm thinking about releasing the Q&A after the hundredth strip is posted.

It's good to finally be back. This computer is great other than having Windows 8. I'm a Windows 7 kinda guy. XD

Hope you guys enjoy. I love you all and as always, God Bless!

Get Together 24

8th Jan 2015, 12:00 AM: ...And the ride is finally over. I finished it! I'm so happy. But also sad that it's over. It gave me so much to do for these past few months. I truly feel accomplished though. This is strip 91 total of S&R. I don't know what I'm going to do for the 100th strip, if anything. I don't feel like animating because that takes a LOT of work. haha. I also don't know if I'm going to just jump into the next arc or do some one-shots first. I'm sure I'll make up my mind.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. But before I jump into anymore S&R, I think I need to take a short break. Technically not a break, since I'll still be writing the strip, but a break from drawing and uploading till the writing is done.

I hope you guys enjoyed the ride and thanks for sticking with me. I hope it was worth it.

Since this is a buffered page, it might take me a little while to reply to your comments because I might not be here at the time, but I'll get to y'all asap.

God Bless and I love you all. I'm soooo happy! :-D

-Dwayne Eric McLeod

Get Together 23

7th Jan 2015, 12:00 AM: Strip 90!!! And page 23!!! The ride is ALMOST over. I really hope you guys are enjoying this story arc.

And guess what? I rebuilt my buffer. I finished the final two pages in the story arc, so expect the episode finale same time tomorrow.

The book itself looks nice and I'm very proud of it. I still have to do the bonus stuff before publishing and tomorrow will be last call for Q&A so be sure to get all your questions to the cast out before then.

1 more page! 1 MORE PAGE!!! I'm excited, are you? XD

Get Together 22

6th Jan 2015, 3:49 PM: The situation comic continues... Only two more pages to go. Hopefully I can rap this up okay. I'm technically ahead. I finished work on the final panel to Get Together and I think it'll close things out nicely. Hard to believe we're already at page 22 of Get Together. I'm going to be sad when it's over. haha. I'm looking forward to working on future episodes of S&R however. Things will get quirky again, I promise. Having everyone get along is a nice change of pace though.

If you guys have anymore questions for the cast, I'd love to hear them. You guys have given me some great questions already but if you have anymore, please share before I publish this thing.

Love you all and God Bless!

-Dwayne

Get Together 21

5th Jan 2015, 9:56 AM: Really, Timbo? You're overweight and YOU'RE the one that asks about dinner? Stereotypes, man, stereotypes. XD

Seems like Debbie had a great idea for dinner though. Pizza's not a bad compromise. Is your head spinning? DEBBIE is the one that SAVED the day. See, I told you she's not all that bad. :-D

Well I got one question so far for the Q&A but I need more from you guys. Feel free to ask ANY question. I want to make this Q&A very entertaining for the published book.

Also, if you didn't get the memo yesterday, I changed the website banner and background. I'm really proud of that banner with the whole human cast. If I had room, I would have included Forks and Spoons.

We're closing in on 90 strips of Sam & Roger. Once this arc is over, there will be 91 strips. I'm contemplating whether I should just go ahead and jump into the date arc or do some one-shots first. Which would you guys prefer?

I can't wait to publish this thing. I still have to give my interview and do some bonus comics, as well as complete the final three pages, but I want this book to be worth it.

There's not really a joke to this particular issue, other than the fat guy is the first one to ask about dinner. Bless Timbo's heart. XD

I hope you guys enjoy and I'll go ahead and start work on #22 of Get Together. Love you all! :-)

-Dwayne Eric McLeod

Get Together 20

4th Jan 2015, 9:34 AM: Numero 20!!!! We're getting so close to the Get Together finale. Can't wait. I'm enjoying working on this story though, so it'll be kinda bittersweet when it ends. But I have so many ideas for future story arcs.

Also, I was thinking the published book of Get Together should have a Q&A where people ask the cast questions and they answer. I will also be interviewed in the book and I'm also going to do some bonus comics. The Q&A section will be a comic of its own, so if you got any questions for the guys, feel free to ask away. And you can ask more than one question of course. :-D

EDIT: I just uploaded a new website banner depicting the entire cast showing what a successful get together would have looked like. But Sam & Roger totally flubbed. It was a lot of fun drawing the whole cast together though it did take forever. Hope you guys enjoy. I like it better than the previous banner. :-D

Get Together 19

3rd Jan 2015, 2:06 PM: So, this page almost didn't happen. My computer crashed again. Apparently I had a virus, but my stepfather fixed it for me. I think I downloaded a bad program. I won't let that happen again.

I enjoyed working on this page. 5 more pages and this story arc will be OVER. It's been a long journey, but this is only the beginning. Hope you guys enjoy. God Bless! :-D

Get Together 18

1st Jan 2015, 11:35 AM: Really, Roger? How do you forget to put cheese in mac and CHEESE? It's in the title, dude.

A new year and a new strip. 6 more pages to go and this story arc will be completed. I have so many ideas for the next story arcs as well as some one shots.

Also, today is Julian's (my cat) birthday. He's 9 years old today. He's asleep on my hip right now. My Bengal Brat. I love him to bits. Happy Birthday, Jules!!! :-D

I have a feeling this is going to be an excellent year FULL of S&R. :-D

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I renamed the strips their actual names instead of using the number system. It's far less confusing to find your favorite S&R comics now. God Bless and Happy New Year! :-D

Get Together 17

31st Dec 2014, 2:13 PM: Woohoo! Sam & Roger is OFFICIALLY back in business! I was finally able to rewrite the final 8 pages of the story arc as well as drew some new backgrounds. I'm so happy to finally be back at work. I missed working with these guys. The intermission comic was fun but I'm happy to be able to finish off this story arc and brain storm for the next one. This one leaves off in a cliffhanger. I wonder what Sam is so upset about? Well, we'll all find out in the next page.

Happy New Year everyone. I want the new year to be full of Sam & Roger shenanigans. :-D

Intermission

22nd Dec 2014, 10:23 AM: Hey guys, since I have to rewrite the final 8 pages of Get Together, I decided to write an intermission after my long absence due to computer problems. Now that I have a new computer, comics will finally continue. I had a lot of fun with this strip. Roger definitely needs to rethink that superhero name. Hope you guys enjoy and the Get Together story arc WILL continue.

I also didn't add a verse of the day to this one, but I haven't stopped using verses of the day. This is just an intermission strip. Anyway, it's good to be back. I missed you guys.

And wow, thanks so much to my now 50 SUBSCRIBERS. You guys are truly awesome and I'm thankful you guys really enjoy and support my little comic. God Bless you all. :-D

Get Together 16

4th Dec 2014, 7:01 PM: I feel really good after finishing this one. I'm happy that Roger is happy. He's the loveable moron but being constantly rejected by Debbie was sadder than funny, I admit. Though I did have fun. I'm sure their first real date will possibly be a future 24 page episode of its own. Let's hope the two have a successful one.

Thank you guys so much for reading, commenting and subscribing. I don't think S&R would have lasted as long without you guys and I'm still going strong. I'm still coming up with bonus material to put in this episode's book. I want it to be worth it for you guys. I enjoy working on this series and I'm not stopping anytime soon. :-D

And I love Debbie 2.0 already. She's going to play a bigger part in future strips and arcs and there's going to be a LOT of weird and hilarious things you'll learn about her. It's going to be a fun surprise, so stay tuned. :-D

Get Together 15

3rd Dec 2014, 1:40 PM: This was another fun one to work on. This entire series is fun to work on, but each strip for a different reason. Sam's apron! XD This is supposed to be a serious moment in the comic, but the apron ain't having it. XD

Anyway, I'm also a little irritated. It seems my computer deleted the file to my Sam & Roger game and I have to start over from scratch. A little disappointed but I WILL finish this game. Hopefully I still have the sprites but if not, I can make them again. It'll make it easier to switch over to the up to date version of Game Maker though.

Hope you guys enjoy. Stay safe and God Bless. :-D

Get Together 14

29th Nov 2014, 5:19 PM: No punchline for this one, but wow, 80 STRIPS! And it seems like Debbie has finally been put in her place and learned a little something about Roger. He's deeply in love with her. How could she NOT have known?

Just like the alt-text says, I think Debbie is perhaps a douchier character than Sam. I'm hoping to make her more likeable in future strips, so be on the lookout for a better Debbie in the future.

Thank you guys so much for reading and subscribing. So close to 50 subscribers I can almost taste it.

I did warn you guys that this story arc will have serious moments, like in this one. But I'm proud with the way Sam handled Debbie. He might be a douchebag, but he cares about his friend. :-)

Get Together 13

26th Nov 2014, 10:37 PM: You may notice I've went back to the "revamped" version of Sam & Roger. Mostly because it's been difficult drawing with my tablet as of late, I like this style better and it's easier to draw. I apologize for going back and forth on styles, but the revamped version is permanent this time.

So close to 80 strips. Also nearing 50 subs! I'm really excited about that. I hope you guys enjoy. I like this style better so it'll be permanent.

In other news, I've been working on a new comic adaptation of my epic poem The World Gone Mad. I have like five pages done for it and it looks great.

Well anyway, I wanted to work on a new Sam & Roger before Thanksgiving. Only about an hour till that day so Happy Thanksgiving and I love you all.

P.S. Once again, this style is permanent. I like drawing with my tablet but it's difficult and I like the way this looks better. :-)

Get Together 12

22nd Nov 2014, 12:21 PM: I sincerely apologize for this strip being so late, but I've decided to take it easy. Releasing a strip every day for 24 days didn't work out. Should have figured. So I'm going to update as much as I can but not overdo it. So I won't have a schedule, but this story arc WILL be finished soon. Hope you guys enjoy and this will give me more time to work on the individual strips.

With that said, I finished the 5th act of Tetsuo's Tales today. You can read it and the other acts here:

http://tetsuotales.blogspot.com/

Hope you guys enjoy. I'm still working on the video game btw. I haven't worked on it in a couple days but I haven't forgotten about it and have big plans for it. The soundtrack is also fun to work on.

Also wow, over 3,500 visitors, 15,100 hits and I'm now up to 45 subscribers. Looking forward to hitting the big 50. You guys are awesome.

Love you all! :-D

Get Together 11

16th Nov 2014, 11:00 PM: Monday strip, here we come. I'm still way ahead of schedule. I hope you guys are enjoying this story arc because there will be plenty more of these in the future. I don't know what else to say now, just that I hope you enjoy this strip and I love you all! :-D

Get Together 10

15th Nov 2014, 11:00 PM: This was a lot of fun. I'm having a blast with this entire story arc. I'm formatting the pages right now to fit in an 8.5 X 11 comic book and the book itself looks great so far. I have some ideas for the extras I want to put in the book. It'll be sorta like a magazine with the comic itself and other goodies. I'm thinking of doing spoof reviews like a lot of internet reviewers I like watching do. Should be fun. I'm still way ahead of schedule. Having a buffer is great. :-D

Get Together 9

14th Nov 2014, 11:00 PM: 3rd buffered comic. It's weird that these are running on a daily schedule since I LOATHE schedules haha. But Every day for 24 days, there will be a new page uploaded. I'm enjoying working on this episode so much, I'm looking forward to writing the next.

Also, I hope you guys can give me some advice on what I should add inside the published book? I want it to have exclusive stuff in it that you can't get anywhere else, therefore if you've read the entire episode, there will still be a reason to buy the book. Any advice and ideas are welcomed. :-D

#75!!!! Only 25 more strips and I will have reached #100. It's going to be an amazing ride getting there. Any ideas for the 100th issue are also welcomed. :-D

Get Together 8

13th Nov 2014, 11:00 PM: This is the second page in my ongoing buffer till the 24 page story is complete. Then things will probably go back to normal, with several one-shots before I end up working on the second 24 page episode of Sam & Roger. I had a lot of fun designing Roger's shirt in this. Spoons looks so cute on his shirt. ^_^

Get Together 7

12th Nov 2014, 11:00 PM: So, I'm keeping a buffer for this comic till the story arc is over, since I'm way ahead of schedule. So be ready for new Sam & Roger comics at 12 AM each day till the story arc is complete. This is the first time I've EVER had a buffer for this or any of my other work. I'm really enjoying working on this story and there will be plenty more in the future. This is the first "episode" of Sam & Roger's sitcom on paper. Once the arc is complete, I WILL publish it as a comic book. I might put in extra features in the comic book itself. I'm thinking Forks & Spoons' spinoff series will be available the comic book-only and I'll put in some other goodies as well. :-D

Get Together 6

12th Nov 2014, 9:38 AM: So, in this one, I have another angry bobble head drawing. This time it's Sam. XD

Wow guys, thanks for supporting S&R and enjoying my work. It truly means a lot. I'm blessed with so many subscribers. You guys are amazing. And congrats to my dear friend Seabiscuit for reaching 100 subs. That's incredible. Maybe one day S&R will reach that number. I'm optimistic about the future.

God Bless and I love you all! :-D

Get Together 5

11th Nov 2014, 11:02 AM: Panel 3 was soooo much fun to draw. Roger looks like an angry bobble head. XD

Anyway, I'm still way ahead of schedule. I ended up doing this comic strip and the next yesterday, so I'll be working on Thursday's comic strip today. S&R is now up to 42 subs, over 3,200 visitors and over 14,000 views. Once again, you guys are awesome. I love each and every one of you. Hope you guys enjoy this strip. I'm having a lot of fun with this story arc. :-D

Get Together 4

10th Nov 2014, 11:08 AM: I'm back and STILL ahead of schedule. The story arc is coming along great. I might end up drawing tomorrow's AND the next day's strip, so be looking forward to that. S&R is up to 41 subs, over 3,000 visitors and over 13,000 views. It's quite humbling that S&R is doing so well. I never expected it to come this far. Once this story arc is complete, I'm releasing it on my Lulu store as a comic book. I have more story arc ideas planned. The animation I'll be working on will be shorts because even just a comic strip is a LOT of work, but they'll tell a linear story with some gags thrown in. Should be fun. I'm also still working on the video game, but taking a break from it while I work on this story arc. Thanks everyone for being so patient and enjoying Sam & Roger. They can't thank you enough. :-)

Get Together 3

9th Nov 2014, 11:27 AM: Welp, I'm way ahead of schedule. I worked on this one yesterday and I'll be working on the next issue today. I truly hope you guys are enjoying this story arc. I plan on doing a lot more story arcs in the future. But after this one is finished, I plan on doing several one shots. I'm really enjoying working on this arc. :-D

Get Together 2

8th Nov 2014, 10:14 AM: Wow, guys! I forgot to mention yesterday that Sam & Roger is past 40 subscribers, over 3,000 visitors and over 13,000 views. I am truly honored and humbled you guys like S&R that much. Thank you all. I love you all.

The Get Together Saga Continues as the boys discuss Roger's cologne. Will he listen to Sam and avoid a cologne bath? Only time will tell. :-D

Get Together 1

7th Nov 2014, 3:06 PM: This is page 1 of a 24 page story arc, collectively called Get Together. Once it is complete, it will be comic book issue #1 of Sam & Roger. S&R seems to be becoming a franchise. This story arc will be a dramedy I guess you could call it. It'll have the usual S&R humor with a slice of Christian values and character development. I've already written out the entire script and I'm going to be very pleased once this arc is finished. This is the most ambitious project I've done for Sam & Roger EVER. I like having verses of the day relative to the topic in the comics and this is actually one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It's about togetherness of course. I might work on a new S&R strip every day since the script is already written, but I fear burnout, so expect a new strip ever two to three days until strip 90, which is the end of the story arc. S&R is usually non-linear but I want it to be more of a sitcom on paper. Also in S&R news, I'm brainstorming a cartoon show for the guys, with a full voice cast. My sister will do most of the female voices while I will voice Sam & Roger and other random male peasants. This arc might be the first episode. I'm really looking forward to it. And don't worry, I'm still working on the S&R video game, so stay tuned for that. :-)

In other news, my mom and I are still going for walks and today we did 5 miles LIKE A BOSS! haha. I'm getting skinny, thank the Lord. I'm tired of being a mister chubby chubs. XD

I hope you guys enjoy. I went with my original style for this story arc. Once the story arc is finished, I might decide to stick to this style. I don't know yet, but I love the look of it. I feel I should have been a newspaper cartoonist... Maybe one day. Who knows? :-)

Love you all and God Bless!

Love Is Blind

30th Oct 2014, 3:46 PM: Well this one was a lot of fun to do and I'm still using the revamped backgrounds. I think it looks good with the hand drawn characters and I did put a lot of work into those backgrounds and am pretty proud of them.

Also, I have to re-do all the work I did on the Sam & Roger video game because I was using an older version of Game Maker and only Studio allows html5 exports. So I got Studio. Thankfully all I have to do is keep going back and forth between both programs to get all my code into Studio. So it'll be a minor delay. Good thing Studio is also less glitchy and I'm looking forward to using it.

Superpowers

25th Oct 2014, 11:56 AM: I've decided to go back to my old style with "color" and I really love what I did with this strip. And we have a first. I'm starting to add verses of the day to the comic strips. I love the Bible and I want to add encouraging words to my strips. It is a Christian comic after all but I'm so glad non-believers and people of other faiths read this fun series as well. I hope I make you guys laugh at my silliness but I always try and keep it positive. I'm really happy with the added verse of the day.

In other news as some of you are already aware, I'm working on a Sam & Roger video game and I've really got some cool things in it already and I'm using Game Maker to work on it. I want to see if there's a way I can add it here to an extra page in HTML so when someone gets a high score, others can see. The game will be free. It's mostly for fun anyway and I'm trying to get it to work well. It still has some bugs that I'm working on but it should be a fun experience. I want the plot to the game to be something incredibly stupid but funny at the same time. I'm using 8-bit music and the graphics look great. I love seeing Sam jump around and stomp enemies. I really want the fun factor to be up there with a lot of replay value and I will add comic drawings to the cut scenes. I'm thinking it'll be about 40 levels, 20 Sam levels and 20 Roger. I still don't know if I'll add boss levels though but we'll see. Anyway, wish me luck guys. Love you all! ^_^

A Not So Sam & Roger Halloween

19th Oct 2014, 11:24 PM: It's been a little while, I know, but my brain has been zapped of ideas lately. But here's an extra sized Sam & Roger to chew on for a bit. Sam & Roger don't celebrate Halloween, but do I? Well, I used to and I really like dressing up and eating candy, but I haven't celebrated Halloween in years. People in my family still do and I really have nothing against it even as a "religious" person. I just don't have time for it. It was fun drawing Scoot in a ninja costume. And I couldn't resist giving him his trademark shirt that says something gross on it.

My niece spent the weekend with us and she was great. I love spending time with that "icky" 9th grader. Next weekend, my sister is coming over and we're going to party and play Super Mario Bros. I'm determined for her to beat it because she says she never has and she's 30 so she NEEDS to beat it or else I'm going to make fun of her for the rest of her life. X-D

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy. :-D
